Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Cumbria (Commissioner), David Allen will be at the Keswick Victorian Fayre on Sunday 1 December from 10.30-3.30pm in the Market Square, to provide residents with the opportunity to talk about any views, concerns or issues they may have regarding policing, fire, crime or community safety.

Representatives from the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner will also be at the fayre to provide information on victims’ services, find out the public’s key concerns around crime and learn more about resident’s thoughts on the service provided by Police and Fire.

Commissioner, David Allen said: “As your Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner, my role is to be the voice of residents within Cumbria, in respect of the Police and Fire services – I am your voice.

“If any member of the public has a concern about crime in their area, or around the Constabulary or Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service and the service they deliver, please come along to Keswick on Sunday and share your views.

“I would encourage anyone attending the Fayre to visit our stand and have a chat. No appointments are necessary, just call in. I’m happy to talk and to chat to residents and visitors to the Fayre about my role, that of my Office and the service that CFRS and the Constabulary deliver on behalf of the residents of Cumbria and visitors to our great county.

“The more information we can gather, the more we increase our chances of being able to provide the right resources in the right place at the right time for the Constabulary and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service – so please come along and share your thoughts.

“Together we can better protect Cumbria and make it an even safer place to live, work and visit.”
