Cumbria’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (Commissioner), David Allen, will be available on Monday 25 November at Muffin Break Café, The Lanes shopping centre in Carlisle, CA3 8NX from 2-4pm, for people to drop in and share their views around Cumbria Constabulary and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.

The Commissioner will be joined by local Police Officers and Firefighters to discuss any questions or issues with the public. Also attending on the day will be a British Sign Language interpreter from Cumbria Deaf Association.

Cumbria’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, David Allen, comments: “I really do hope that people will take the opportunity to come out and meet with me face-to-face at The Lanes shopping centre and share their views on the Police and Fire services.

“In my role as Commissioner, I am your voice. If any member of the public has a concern about crime in their area, or with the Services, I encourage them to come along and talk things through.

“I am really pleased that we will be joined by a British Sign Language interpreter and look forward to meeting local members of the deaf community and learning about their experiences around the services provided by the Police and the Fire & Rescue Service.

“I genuinely welcome all views – I really do want to hear your opinions and views on the services I oversee, so that I know what is working well for the public and what can or should be improved, so please come along for a chat.”

Anyone interested in sharing their views but are unable to attend the surgery, please email commissioner@cumbria-pcc.gov.uk or call 01768 217734.
