Cumbria’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (Commissioner), David Allen, is hosting a surgery in Kendal to hear residents’ concerns around Policing and Fire.

The surgery will be held in the upstairs gallery of Kendal Library, Stricklandgate, Kendal LA9 4PY, Wednesday 12 November, 10:30am – 12pm.

Speaking on the surgery, Commissioner David Allen, said: “As Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, it is my role to be the voice of the public in respect of Cumbria Constabulary and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.

“These surgeries are vital for me to keep in contact with residents and to ensure that I hear concerns from those who want to meet face-to-face rather sending an email to my office. I have done a significant number of these surgeries since being elected, I have been able to talk to and help a number of individuals as a result. They are a key part of how I work and ensure that I remain accessible.

“If you have a concern, please do come along and speak to me. I am your voice in policing and fire, but I can only help where I can if I know that there is an issue – and I want to help wherever I can.

“If you can’t attend one of my surgeries and have a concern around the Constabulary or Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, please still raise it with me at commissioner@cumbria-pcc.gov.uk or call 01768 217734. I want to hear from you!”
