Cumbria’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (Commissioner), David Allen, is hosting a surgery in Wigton to hear residents’ concerns around Policing and Fire.
The surgery will be held in the Solway Suite in the Market Hall, Church Street, Wigton, Cumbria, CA7 9AA on Wednesday 8 October between 2pm – 4pm. Councillor Elaine Lynch, Cumberland Councillor for Wigton, will also be in attendance to hear any concerns regarding council matters.
Speaking on the surgery, Commissioner David Allen, said: “As Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, it is my role to be the voice of the public in respect of Cumbria Constabulary and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.
“These surgeries are vital for me to keep in contact with residents and to ensure that I hear concerns from those who want to meet face-to-face rather sending an email to my office.
“If you have a concern, please come along and speak to me. I am your voice in policing and fire, but I can only help if I know that there is an issue – and I want to help wherever I can.
“I’m pleased to be joined by Councillor Elaine Lynch to assist residents with local council matters.
“If you can’t attend one of my surgeries and have a concern around the Constabulary or Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, please still raise it with me at commissioner@cumbria-pcc.gov.uk or call 01768 217734. I want to hear from you!”
