Cumbria’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (Commissioner), David Allen, is attending Winter Droving in Penrith on Saturday 26 October to listen to your concerns around Policing and Fire. The Office will also be in attendance to find out your priorities around crime.
The Winter Droving is a local event that is free to attend in Penrith Town Centre.
Speaking on the event, Commissioner David Allen said: “As the voice of the public within Policing and Fire, it’s really important for me to attend local events and give residents the opportunity to raise any concerns with me.
“This is my first Winter Droving as Commissioner and my first event in Penrith so I am keen to listen to the public’s concerns.
“Members from my Office will also be at Droving, asking members of the public about their top concerns around crime so I encourage anyone who wishes to have their say, to pop along and tell us your views.
“Winter Droving gives me the opportunity to speak to those living in Penrith and surrounding areas about their views on crime and how we, as Police and Fire, can better serve their communities.
“Please come along on Saturday 26 October to raise your views and concerns and have a chat with me.
“As your Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner, my role is to be the voice of residents within Cumbria, in respect of the Police and Fire services – I am your voice. If any member of the public has a concern about crime in their area, or around the Constabulary or Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, please raise it with me at commissioner@cumbria-pcc.gov.uk or call 01768 217734.”
