About Age UK South Lakeland Our purpose is to work with local older people to help them retain their independence and exercise choice in their lives. Delivering services that help to meet the needs of older people and fit with the other local services in the communities in which they lives. Informing and advising older people of their rights and options and assisting clients understand and complete official documents. Advocating for and on behalf of older people on issues which matter to them as individuals or communities. We can be contacted through a Helpline service which operates Monday to Friday 9.00-5.00. Who We Help Anyone over 50 years of age Accessing Our Services We serve the whole of South Lakeland and our Case Officers are able to support those who need help across a wide range of issues including Housing Issues, Health related benefits, social interaction, health and wellbeing support.
