Cumbria Witness Service

The Witness Service is a free and confidential service that supports prosecution and defence witnesses and their families or supporters when they attend court to give evidence. We can provide a safe place to wait and support with our trained teams of volunteers, referrals for support are received from our partner agencies and we offer support pre trial on the day of the trial and can refer on to other support if required. We cannot discuss legal matters however would signpost to the people who can.
