Estates Engineering Officer

Salary: £39.813 - £42,897
Hours: Based on 37 hours per week
Based: Police Headquarters, Penrith, Cumbria

The Head of Estates within the Office of Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Cumbria is looking for a dynamic individual to work in our maintenance team and deliver work across the Cumbria Constabulary and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service estate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be working in a fast pace Blue Light environment which has an exciting estates development plan. We have a diverse police and fire estate with over fifty buildings geographically spread throughout Cumbria.

You will be part of a team that manages this portfolio. You will provide technical expertise and responsibility for the delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance across the estate, including planned cyclical work programmes and responsive maintenance services. You must have a sound knowledge of compliance and mechanical and electrical maintenance, including but not exhaustively, fixed wiring and portable appliance electrical testing and servicing of plant and equipment.
