Commissioner David Allen wishes the public a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Cumbria’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, David Allen, has welcomed today’s announcement by the Prime Minister which has set out a Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee for all forces in England and Wales.  

David Allen went out on patrol with Community Beat Officer, PC Anson, to hear more about his work in the community and see first-hand how the Police are tackling anti-social behaviour in the city east area.

Penrith, Carlisle, and Workington have all seen a reduction in anti-social behaviour (ASB) over the last year following prevention and intervention funding from the Home Office’s Safer Streets Fund.
