In this video, Inspector Adrian Dobson talks about making a victim personal statement (VPS), and how it can be used in court to show the impact a crime has had on you and can influence the sentence handed to the perpetrator.


Restorative Justice and Out of Court Resolutions

In this video, Out of Courts Resolution Officer, Megan Fletcher, and Constable Adrian Tyson explain how to access Restorative Justice, what happens when you request it, and how it can benefit you as a victim as well as the perpetrator.  They will also cover the various actions that might be put in place instead of a case going to court and the conditions attached to these.

Police Victim Care, Keeping You Informed and What Happens After the Trial

In this video, Witness Care Team Leader Korrine Spelman explains how you will be offered support when you have reported a crime, who you will speak to and what kind of help is available to you.
