Property Fund
THE PROPERTY FUND WILL BE OPENING EARLY SEPTEMBER 2025
Applications must be received by the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner by 17:00 on Friday 17th October 2025.
Please allow sufficient time for Cumbria Constabulary to approve your application prior to the closing date.
The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has power to distribute funds accumulated in the Police Property Fund as a result of the disposal of property coming into the possession of the police by the Police (Property) Act 1997 and The Powers of Criminal Courts Act 1973.
The aim of the Property Fund is for local organisations and community groups to access up to £2,500 for initiatives designed to reduce crime and/or anti-social behaviour. Initiatives could include the purchase of additional equipment to help deliver diversionary activities within communities, thereby reducing the likelihood of crime, disorder, antisocial behaviour and/or antisocial driving.
